Job Summary:

As a Sales Executive – Key Account Executive at Boxcube Travellers, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, ensuring the successful go-to-market of products, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your responsibilities will encompass product acquisition, development, and quality control, as well as sales operations for the China team. This is a dynamic role in a startup environment that requires constant innovation, adaptability, and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.

 


Key Responsibilities:


    • Product Acquisition, Development, and QC:



    1. Identify and acquire attractive products that align with BXCT’s goals of excellence, competitiveness, and good margins.

    2. Collaborate with product development teams to enhance existing offerings and develop new products based on market trends and customer preferences.

    3. Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure the highest standards are met.



    • Sales and Net Revenue:



    1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales goals and net revenue targets.

    2. Analyse market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.

    3. Implement pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability.



    • Sales Operation:



    1. Oversee sales operations for the China team, managing accounts and ensuring efficient communication.

    2. Offer new and exciting products, pitching and conducting training sessions for the China team before product GO-TO-Market.

    3. Address all sales requests promptly, demonstrating a sense of urgency to “MAKE IT HAPPEN.”



    • Customer Experience:



    1. Prioritise and enhance the customer experience for both B2B and B2C segments.

    2. Foster strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.



    • Product Development:



    1. Continuously understand the market taste and trends, being curious and eager to develop new products.

    2. Customise existing products to suit market needs and tailor products according to specific requirements and pricing requests.



    • Product Operation:



    1. Manage the end-to-end product development cycle, ensuring attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.

    2. Develop booking SOP charts for B2B and B2C, along with FAQs.

    3. Create compelling go-to-market materials, including product listings and artwork compilations.

    4. Obtain approvals and handle product uploading.

    5. Oversee product production and revenue generation.

 



Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)


    • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

    • Percentage increase in sales revenue compared to previous periods.

    • Sales team conversion rates and individual sales representative targets.

    • Client satisfaction scores and feedback.

    • Percentage increase in profit margins through effective negotiation.

    • Number of successful contract negotiations and renewals.

    • Resolution time for customer concerns and issues



 

Qualifications


    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the travel industry.

    • In-depth knowledge of inbound and outbound travel products and services.

    • Strong command in Mandarin and English both oral and written. Added proficiency in Bahasa is an advantage.

    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

    • Proficient in Microsoft Words, Excel, and PowerPoint, working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI would be an advantage.



    • Strategic planning, budgeting and operation of social media platforms

    • Responsible for social media paid ads and organic posts

    • Perform marketing campaigns globally

    • Work with global digital team and regional team to ensure smooth execution of marketing campaigns

    • Generate campaign reports with in-depth analysis

    • Assist with planning or marketing strategies to help drive traffic and engagement to the website

    • Produce content for social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, IG, LinkedIn

    • Keep up to date with any social media trends

    • Ensure you produce a consistent brand message across all the social media channels

    • Regularly monitor competitor social media sites and create competitor analysis reports

    • Contribute to the company blog on a monthly basis

    • Assist with the social media users and respond to any mentions over specific social media platforms
