Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Travel Manager to oversee both inbound and outbound travel product. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in travel management, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen understanding of market trends. As a Product Travel Manager, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing travel products, ensuring seamless operations, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify travel trends and opportunities.
- Develop and enhance travel products to meet customer demands and market needs.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to negotiate and secure favorable contracts.
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics, including transportation, accommodation, and activities.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for smooth operations.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall travel experience.
- Develop and manage budgets for travel products, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues during travel operations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute effective promotional campaigns.
- Develop marketing materials to showcase travel products and attract new customers.
- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators and travel product performance.
- Conduct analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
- Proven experience in travel management, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of inbound and outbound travel industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong command in English both oral and written. Added proficiency in Bahasa and Mandarin is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Words, Excel and PowerPoint, working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant travel management software and tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
